Thomasville, Missouri is located in Oregon county in Southeast Missouri. The Eleven Point River rose as much as seven feet above historic records on the night of April 30, 2017 and destroyed 48 of the town’s 58 homes. Veterans Worldwide crews arrived after dark on May 6th, unloaded equipment, and went to work on May 7th removing debris that the homeowner and volunteers had piled along the streets. The crews then loaded the debris into 30 and 40 CY dumpsters and a grapple truck then transported the debris to the solid waste transfer station in West Plains, Missouri. Metal was segregated as much as possible and taken to the local scrap yard where the proceeds were donated back to the town’s flood relief fund. The work order was complete on May 16th.
