Veterans Worldwide was organized as a Limited Liability Company under the statutes of the State of Missouri on November 15, 2011. Our Charter registration number is LC1183621
The company traces its roots back to the great Flood of ’93 when company owner, Lester Johnson, was awarded 12 work orders for flood damage demolition and removal. After the flood of ’93 projects, his company began contracting with the federal government and performed demolition projects at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, Fort Sill in Oklahoma, and the Naval Air Station in Corpus Christi, Texas. Next, he moved to central Missouri and started doing general construction. This work included installing water and sewer lines, erecting a water storage tank, building streets, installing storm water systems, wastewater plants, and mass excavating. In 2011, the company was approved as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and started concentrating on federal work once again. The list of federal customers includes the Veterans Administration, Fort Leonard Wood, USDA-NRCS, USDA-RD, and EPA. State work has been performed for the land reclamation, hazardous waste, and state park divisions of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, and the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency.
